I opened my console to try and replace my ABYX buttons and D-pad. I struggled, then, afraid of breaking something, I gave up and put everything back together.
It works perfectly normally, except for the L and R buttons which no longer work at all… I think I reassembled the console correctly.

If they were working fine before you tried to replace buttons then clearly you messed up something by accident. I would restart the console to double check the behavior then probably you will have to reopen it to see whats up with those triggers connections.
