Try replacing the battery/removing it and see if it powers on without a battery.
If it’s modded try starting without the sd card.
If all fails check inside for any loose cables.

The screen cables are probably insecure, ripped, or it just got faulty. Try reseating the cables. If it wont work, buy a new screen. It’s has to be screen issue because if the device turns off with a black screen and a loud pop, it certainly means that one of the screens is bad or disconnected.
