Are these things fine on New 3DS XL or did the previous owner nailed it?

So yesterday I bought New Nintendo 3DS XL because I wanted a bit more from this system and it's pretty off. The owner told me he reshelled the console since the original had few scratches on the top. So I wonder are these things his result of swapping the shell or the console is just the way it is. I own the original 3DS and it feels nice but the new one doesn't feel like it. And on the small note the stylus is a bit too hard to pull. Btw the previous owner also gave me two shells for it(old with few scratches and second unknown one). If it's not normal how should I fix these? I don't want to regret getting it…
