I don’t see anyone talking about this yet. Everyone is still claiming HOME compatibility is coming, yet the description in the eShop, both on the website and on the eShop on the console seemingly removed the portion that previously said. “Support for Pokémon HOME is coming soon

You'll be able to bring the Pokémon you catch and train to the place where all Pokémon gather-support for Pokémon HOME is coming to Pokémon FireRed Version!”

    1. It’s not a deal breaker, but I can play fire red on my hacked 3DS already, I was hoping to transfer pokemon to Home though.

      Maybe it’s in a future update…

    2. Pokemon Home was legitimately the only reason I was defending the $20 price. If they don’t intend to add that, this is overpriced for something that should’ve just been a NSO game.

    3. I think this would mislead people to think that Home Support would be on release. If there’s no home support or anything would be said specifically like was Pkmn Stadium NSO versions.

Overall I think the announcement wasn’t supposed to happen today.

    4. Hopefully this just means it will come later. Shoppers can be dumb LOL. I wouldn’t buy until future compatibility is confirmed.

    5. For every pokemon game on the switch, home compatibility comes later. Im pretty sure ZA doesnt have it yet.

This will likely launch the same way.

    6. I’ll wait with my outrage until we actually have clarity if they don’t have home compatibility then there isn’t a single reason to buy this.

    7. Home support will probably come later in the year but they didn’t want to advertise it otherwise people would expect it to be there at launch

    8. I will definitely take individually sold ROMs that I can “own” forever over paying for a subscription forever to access the games

    9. Continue to play on my Steamdeck or pay £18 to play the exact same game on my Switch 2… tough choice…

    10. GameFreak saw people were excited about something and immediately had to lower those expectations LMAO

    11. Quirky-Employer9717 on

That’s ridiculous. They should at least have online trading/battling and pokemon home. That would make this the easiest purchase ever. Now it’s questionable and has no benefit over just emulating it

    12. Mfs in the comments talking about “there’s no point in buying it if there’s no home comparability” acting like this doesn’t make one of the most popular and expensive pokemon games way more accessible

    13. They probably removed it because they want SOMETHING to announce about it on the 27th with the Pokémon direct. But, if it DOESNR have home then I cant wait to see people mad at the $20. I keep getting downvoted by people thinking $20 is a good price solely due to Home connectivity.

    14. I don’t understand how such a prestigious franchise gets this kind of treatment from Game Freak, it’s mind blowing.

    15. am i the only one who’s already modded/emulated the crap out of all of these GBA games and has no interest in neither NSO or re-releases?

    16. Probably won’t be available on release (again).

If HOME compatibility isn’t there, I fail to see why I should purchase them ngl
