Xbox 360 was peak. The games coming out were consistently great, and they consistently got better as time went on.

Toss up between 01 and 2020. Some pretty core memories of playing Halo in college and some pretty good times in 2020 playing a bunch of shooters with friends.

I don’t think anyone can compete with the 360 era.

For me, it goes 360 > Original > Series > One. The Series X is a genuinely brilliant console, but nothing beats my being ten years old and playing Morrowind for the first time on the original Xbox. There is nothing Microsoft could release today that wins versus my nostalgia.
The 360 is definitely in a league of its own. It defined gaming in the mid 00’s I think. It caught the energy and mood of the time in a bottle and there is no compare. I hope the people who created it are proud of what they made.

I’d say the 360 era just because it’s what I grew up with. Like when I was playing GTA V with friends I got rammed side angle on by a NPC who got spooked while driving a uHaul truck and all my friends saw was me disappear with the truck off their screens while they were following me.
Though the Xbox One Definitely has a lot of memories, and games I like too. Couldn’t have gotten into Warframe without it.

Nothing comes close to 360 gen, everything went downhill after that

Xbox series because it encompasses all generations. Backwords compatibility is through the roof. And it might not have all games, but most of the games from the previous generations are still there.
