    Preloaded Resident Evil Requiem despite not buying it digitally! Had no idea about this feature until recent.



    I had no idea that through the Xbox app you can download games you don't own yet/pre ordered physically.

    Very excited to hopefully get my Resident Evil Requiem Deluxe Edition tomorrow!!!

      Such a good feature! You have a new game ready to go as soon as you get the disc. Make good use of it for those even bigger releases lol

      One of the best features that is kind of impossible to advertise. Countless times I’ve seen deals at GS or Walmart for a game and will run out to grab it but not before preloading it so I can pop the game in whenever I get back. Still needs the convenience of a good Internet connection to get the best experience but if you know you want to buy a game days in advance, this feature is a great time saver.

      You can actually download all the games. I had issue with Kingdoms of Amalur failing to install. I installed digital version and played with my disc, as it was good enough to acknowledge license.

      I’ve been installing games via the app before I even got the physical copy through the post for the last few years now, it’s a great feature.

      Why is it not a feature on the console itself? It’s really annoying to use a phone for this, and we just saw how reliable the app is with all the spam messages

      I did the same. Maybe on a sale I’ll buy it but at least I have stored safely on my External drive
