I’ve owned Yo-Kai Watch since it originally launched and I went to replay it and after it updated to version 1.2 and noticed there were some problems booting this game, the first time it got stuck on the Level-5 logo and I had to go back to the home menu. Second thing is the opening movie freezes every time I tried to play it, the video on the top screen freezes but the audio keeps playing. Thirdly and most egregiously it cannot load in the town and instead I’m in a grey area like in the image. I’ve tried to clean the cartridge which didn’t work and have kept booting up the game to see if anything changes but nothing happens. Is my Yo-Kai Watch cartridge busted or is there another way to save it?

i’m not too well versed on this stuff, but it could be a corrupted cartridge? if you have a modded 3ds, there’s [a tool floating about on gbatemp](https://share.google/fA7wsZB4y1HvHqXD4) that can tell you if your game cartridge is suffering from corruption or if the issue stems from elsewhere.
