    1. Me; Ok if I can memorize hundreds of pokemon, I should be able to memorize Kanji.  Brain!  Why arent we memorizing the Kanji?!

      Brain: Electrode, Diglett, Nidoran, Mankey

After Gold and silver, the first 251 Pokémon, they should have focused on improving gameplay experience only. At most, not more than 5 new Pokémon each gen. There are over 1000 now

To be fair most Pokémon look way more different from each other than most kanji

    4. Is that what Pokemon were originally meant for? Helping japanese kids learn kanji?

    5. It takes Japanes kids 12 years of school to learn all the Kanji, but to learn all the Pokemon only takes one afternoon.
