A friend gave me his old New 3DS XL after he bought a new one due to the old one not turning on. Everytime I turn it on it just turns back off with a pop and the bottom screen flickering. I've seen a numerous amount of posts with the same problem with the main solution being a loose cable. I already took it apart and reconnected everything and cleaned off the corners do to them being dirty, but even then it still won't work. The ribbon cables looked odd and I assume thats the problem but would I need to replace the entire top screen, I am unsure on what needs replacement. Please help.

Try unplugging the camera only, sometimes it does the job. If it doesn’t work, try opening it a little bit and turning it on, staying like this to see if it works or not, if it does, then that means its the top screens ribbon cable that is clearly dying. TELL ME IF IT WORKED PLZ
