In Mexico, Pokemon Pokopia is $1,599 Mexican Pesos. This is the equivalent to $90 USD. This is some crazy pricing and I don't understand how Nintendo has not adopted regional pricing for their games. Having to pay over $20 USD more for a game because of where I live is terrible.

I won’t pretend to have any idea of what goes into pricing physical or digital goods on a global scale, but my assumption is they don’t want people to have accounts based on regions because their prices are so much cheaper.
Again, that’s just a guess. It does suck.
Similar here in the UK. Digital download is equivalent of $78 USD and GKC (from Nintendo directly) is also $90. Regional pricing has been very bad recently
That’s why I went with a GKC. Curry’s (our most popular tech store) was selling it cheaper than the digital price, and The Game Collection was pretty close
Canadian prices aren’t super great either tbh. Maybe not that bad, but still painful.
I miss Argentine store..
I hear Nintendo games are cheaper in Japan than Playstation games.
Wow.
If you shop around it’s $85 here in Australia which is roughly $60 USD.
