    Looking at a white “new” 3ds but box has a black one on it?



    Hey guys, just wondering if any white 3ds' came with a black 3ds box? I haven't found anything online so wanted to ask here.

      No, a white n3DS wouldn’t have come in a box for a black one. If the listing shows the serial numbers on the box and the back, you’d see that they don’t match.

      While not common, sellers will sometimes utilize old boxes so they can claim it’s ‘complete in box’. Of course, normally they at least get the color right.

      If it’s for ‘CiB’ price, avoid it. It’s pretty sketchy behavior to reuse another box.

      There’s a black one on the box, but there’s also a white one.

      There should be a mark or indicator on the back to say which one is in the box

      Generally no. The seller likely had both at some point but only still had the box for the black one.
