I am struggling to find a replacement shell for my link between worlds 3ds XL. From most of the other special edition 3ds models that I have researched they almost all have a black shell on the inside bottom plate…. This model however comes with a gold one matching the top.. I can find the top part of the shell the same color but cannot for the life of me find the bottom replacement. I have painted guitars with spray cans and figured I could be able just paint this one but matching this color with and off the shelf can will be impossible. I could probably get it matched at an auto parts store but that will end up costing a pretty penny….
Sigh, I just want some opinions on how this black bottom shell will look if I just threw this one on there. It matches their other black shell on the bottom fairly well. Any thoughts?

If this mid frame has a little dimple near the joystick area and the mic hole isn’t punched, don’t use it it’s shit
All of the holes are punched. What do you mean by a dimple by the joystick?
