    1. Microsoft’s attempt to use Copilot even in office restrooms is worthy of insanity.

Satya believes his crap AI will succeed if they put it even on the office floors.

so what does this add. will it help me find that really uncommon game from 2001? that isn’t on current gen consoles? will it give me a step by step on how get the super easy achivments by reading off the true ahcimvents site?

    3. Where are all the countless “benefit of the doubt, wait and see” people after the head of AI took over Xbox?

I just don’t get why you would use it. Most people play without a headset or microphone, so voice input won’t be widely used, forcing players to manually open the Gaming Copilot on the xbox and type in your question/request using the onscreen keyboard with a controller. Which is painfully slow in comparison to the onscreen keyboard on mobile phones. It’s a feature that will never get used.

Unless co pilot can get cortana to sit on it then I don’t want anything to do with it

    6. No surprises there. That’s over 30 million people they can technically claim as Copilot users in order to help justify their insane investments into LLM infrastructure

    7. This is something that could help gamers who need it or would like to use it, while not affecting anyone who doesn’t. And yet, all we see are negative comments…

    8. Videgames that play themselves. I swear we all died in 2020, and live in a simulation, because this can’t be real.

I get AI is the “trend” right now, but Microsoft already tried and failed with Cortana. These people learn and remember nothing.

    10. I don’t play my Xbox with a mic and I’m certainly not typing messages to Copilot on my controller so no thanks, lol

It’s going to become more obvious over time why Phil bailed when he did.

I’m calling it now. This is exactly how Microsoft is going to mess up the next Xbox generation. They do this every single cycle and somehow never seem to learn. They cannot resist forcing whatever their latest corporate initiative is into the console, and then when gamers reject it they spend years trying to walk it back.

Last time it was the “all-in-one media console” push with motion controls and Cortana baked into the experience. Now it looks like Copilot is going to be the next thing nobody asked for but we’ll all be forced to see anyway.

How about just making a solid console with a fast, functional UI that is focused on games? Ideally one that is not filled with ads for random non-gaming content. Let people play the games they bought across previous generations and get out of the way.

How about we get party chat functioning properly before we add some useless AI?

    14. thank you.. this is what we all needed because it’s not like we dont have phones in our pockets that we can use when we want to look something up, right? nope… we want to waste time asking the console to do it instead while we wait… even though we do this already with our smartphone…. oh im lost in the game… i look it up on my phone. i dont want to do this on my console via some ai chatbot.

come one man. nobody wants this at all.

    15. Xbox gonna have a hard time with media and people over scrutinizing ai and Copilot. Easy clicks I guess.

Like bing on 360, i just ignored it.

Xbox gamers are asking for an incentive to buy an Xbox these days, whether it be exclusives, game pass improvements, affordability etc and this is the shit that Microsoft is focusing on💀It would be funny if it wasn’t so insanely out of touch with reality and their customers…

I tried it and it gave bullshit while playing gta 4. It also chastised me when I showed it the atari 2600 game custers revenge

why not us AI for good shit like having characters say your name baddies adapting to your play style and being able to ask contextual questions to npcs.

What did everything think the CEO with only AI experience and no gaming experience was gonna do?

I’m sure this was happening with or without her but she’s obviously gonna push this shit harder.
