This is your friendly reminder to check Facebook marketplace & Offer Up for local listings of SSD. Given the current retail prices of storage and ram, I have been on the hunt for the best deals.
Today I came across a 2TB Samsung 990 Pro w/ Heatsink for $200 on FB marketplace. This same model is going for $429 at Best Buy currently. No way was I going to pay that price, it’s just ridiculous. The seller had great reviews with a lot of sales. Quick and easy transaction. Took it home, installed it, formatted it & now my system is working with an extra 2TB of storage for half the retail price.
So if anyone is on the hunt for decent priced storage, try checking second hand to save yourself a few hundred bucks.
