I wish the Boost On and Off screenshots were consistent with their locations on left or right.

    2. Full screen ads as soon as you scroll to the next game.. why do websites suck so bad now

    3. Everyone is talking about this update, but I really have no idea what it does… especially since people keep posting side-by-side comparison screenshots, which as far as I can tell are identical. Is that the joke, or?

Does it, what… make things run better, specifically in handheld mode? Do I, a person who has gone a decade without undocking his Switch, even need to know about this?

    4. The Risen game had horrible handheld resolution, also xenoblade 3; both should benefit significantly

Somewhat unrelated. Does this mean I can play xenoblade 2 on switch 2 *without* horrible slowdown?

    6. Most of the HD2D games should benefit a lot from this. Especially TRPGs

They got so damn blurry with the pixelated art. (Octopath, Triangle Strategy, Tactics Ogre etc)

I’d prefer really good switch 2 updates, this is ok but the battery will probably last much less long which kinda removes the goal of a handheld

This could be the most ass website for gaming I ever looked at. What’s up with those buggy ads??

    9. Am I the only one that thinks this is the most half-assed solution possible to this issue? Don’t get me wrong, its great to have this option and it’s long been overdue, I’m happy I’ll be able to play some older titles with better quality since I didnt own a switch but… This basically means the games are still just being emulated on switch 2 hardware and they just added a button to make the games render as if they were on a switch 1 docked. Don’t other consoles like PS5 or Xbox already have a way to resolution upscale older titles by default? With how good resolution upscalling and frame gen is now I’m pretty sure it wouldn’t take much to have all backwards compatible games running at higher frame rate and at upscaled resolution by default on the Switch 2 instead of having it being a literal switch 1 emulator with the same exact performance unless they sell you an “upgrade pack” with an increase frame rate and resolution cap…

    10. It’s so weird that the author of the article has some comparison pictures with Boost Mode On on the left and other pictures with it on the right.
