Don’t let the looks deceive you, this is not a shooter or a hero baded game, it’s a turn based rpg with rhythm mechanics, and has vn style story segments with 2d portraits

Reminded me a lot of Brütal Legend, but as a JRPG-adjacent thing. Very stylish, much wow.

As someone who absolutely adores musicals I love the idea and premise but the songs just have not gripped me. It just doesn’t feel like they have any unique personality of their own. One of them is even just a melodic knockoff of Rewrite the Stars from the Greatest Showman. I’d love to be surprised but a musical themed game with boring music does not bode well for me.

I want to try this game, the developer was on Get Played recently and made it sound like an awesome rpg that would be up my alley. My alley is ‘cool games that try out new things but also don’t take themselves too seriously’.
