lowkey agree with your caption. it’s our devices we can download 100+ games if we want, especially if we have the storage for it. then he said something about decorating the front is larper behavior. not everyone is rough with the console so putting sticks wouldn’t get in the way. luckily, this guy isn’t anyone who can stop people from doing what they want with their own console lol

I’ve always disliked how people pick on those who just got it and have it decorated and such. Their arguments, like the dude in the video, are always along the lines of ‘you’re just pretending to be into it.’
God forbid somebody wants to get into something they think is cool, or decorate it in a way they think is pretty or nice.
This may be a stretch and correct me if I’m wrong, but it could also be rooted in some kind of misogyny. Especially in 3:43 he says its larping if you… have stickers on the inside of your 3ds, and specifically emphasizes “those 3ds girly pop aesthetic matcha drinking labubu having…”
Somehow he even tried to make a point saying it’s larping bc you have… a lot of games on it? It’s almost like we can mod our devices and get all the games we want. of course we’d have many games.

i watched it earlier, and i dont feel like its a stretch to say the stickers part felt misogynistic af, cuz why does he have a problem with the “girlypop” stickers? why are the people who have 3ds like that less likely to actually play their console? 🙄
I watched the video. The take about people who stickerbomb their 3ds & try to make it have a cute aesthetic is just veiled misogyny when you think about it. Saying people who decorate heavily don’t actually use their 3ds is just a new-age version of “girls don’t play video games/are bad at video games/don’t play real games.” He even calls it a girlypop aesthetic lol, so he clearly associates this particular complaint with women and/or femininity. Why is he bitter about people having fun and showing off their consoles anyway?

Dont care about what people do with their devices. The only thing I care about is scalper hoarding devices and continually pumping the market making it unaffordable for most.
