Hey! So this is my first console repair, I'm doing for a regular 3ds I got secondhand. I had two stripped screws on the back of the system so I took it to a repair guy to remove them. He gave me back the disassembled 3DS a fews days ago so I can work on it. I already cleaned out the little button pads on the board and am trying to put the motherboard back in but there's this little piece he included and I don't know where it goes. Any ideas?

It’s an IR transceiver and it goes into the black connector next to your cartridge slot (between cartridge slot and screen ribbon connector
