Hello! I just got my 3DS in the mail and when i tried to switch the theme, it said that my systems country setting and nintendo eshop don’t match.
However, when i try to go into the Eshop, i can’t! Does someone know if this is something i can fix? My cousin is going to “mod” it for me this weekend, where she says she’ll be able to change the theme. So will that be okay even with these issues, or should i do something to fix this beforehand?

Are you positive your system’s region matches your account? Like. Did you import your system from the EU, Japan, or the US or what not and just change the system language?
Error message seems pretty clear. Your NNID and console’s region don’t match, therefore you can’t use the eShop on that console.
