I designed a slim travel case for the new 3DS XL and DSi XL! Model available for free in description

This is my take on a travel case for the new Nintendo 3DS XL and the Nintendo DSi XL. This case will safely conceal your new 3DS XL or DSi XL, as well as 6 additional games (7 including the one in the system). 

I designed the case with the use of 3mm adhesive padded foam which can be found on amazon here.

To assemble, you will need six (6) M3x35mm socket head machine screws (I used these from Amazon, which have a head with a 5.4mm diameter and 3mm depth). The screw head clearance is a 6mm diameter.

For the foam, you can cut any sizes you'd like for each of the panels, but I will list what I used:

• The bottom of the base and lid each use a 140mm x 90mm piece of foam
• The back side of the base I used 10mm x 15mm pieces on each column
• For the sides of the base, I used 90mm x 15mm pieces of foam
• For the front of the base, I used 40mm x 15mm pieces of foam

I've also added plates for lids with the Nintendo DSi XL and new Nintendo 3DS XL logos for anyone storing a specific console!

I will try to add a Nintendo one in the near future as a separate print profile.
