Hi guys so i found my childhood 3ds and replaced the battery fixed the L and R button but the charging port is completely broken i heard u can use a charging dock/craddle to charge with the pins but i just CANT get it to work and i know nothing is wrong with the charger this is what happens most of the time:
-it doesnt do anything
-very rare cases of the charging light flickering in a certain position idk what triggers this
I cant get it to charge reliable any help?

Guessing you need a new port soldering on cuz from what I’ve read, the port on the og 3DS slips out of place easily which stops it charging. Have you inspected the port while having it open¿?
