Got this 3ds back in 2012/2013, never had any tecnical problems exept a bloated battery that was changed and then worked smoothly after that.
One week ago I picked it up again after probably a year or two of not using it and played normaly, yesterday I powered it on and the light changed from blue to red to flashing red quickly like in the video I attached, so I thought it was out of charge, after charging a bit I tried turning it on while it was plugged in and it worked just fine, then I unplugged it and it rapidly turned off like in video.
Tried to look for something online but havent found anyone with a this exact problem, could it be a battery problem? Should I try to change it?
Does anyone know how to fix this?

If I had to guess it’s probably a battery issue. Get a new battery.
