Looking to take a nostalgic dive back into the older CODs from the glory days (COD4, MW2, WAW, MW3, BO, BO2). Which games still have decent multiplayer counts that aren’t filled with hackers? I have digital versions of these previously listed titles on the Series X if that factors into playability. Would any DLCs need to added/removed to find more/any lobbies?

I have the OG Black Ops and there’s still plenty of people that play online.
Most of them have a decent population to play team deathmatch. I play mw3 the most and probably out of 10 games I usually only run into one game with a hacker.

I play MW2 TDM quite often on my series x. Usually I never have to wait for a game, if I do it’s only like 2-3 minutes.
To be fair, most of these games populations have grown in the last few months so you shouldn’t have trouble finding matches.
MW 2007 is something i play often. Haven’t had any issues, but can’t promise there aren’t hackers.
WaW is rough because of the DLC maps. They don’t work half the time, and many people don’t own them. For some reason DLC is in the regular TDM rotation and you’ll be signed up for the matches even without owning the content. Annoying.
Black Ops 1 is also pretty populated. Never saw a hacker.
Black Ops 2 is really fun but I’d say 2/10 matches (in my experience) have hackers. If you are patient you can just leave and find another match. The hackers are super obvious. Flying through the map and other BS.
I don’t really play the other 360 generation games. Hope my input helps you!
