I guess, the subscription will activate, but you simply won’t be able to renew it, or you’ll be given an Ultimate subscription for a shorter period.

Gold converts to Ultimate at like… 30% of the length or something? It’s a little cheaper than buying direct but not by much.
Assuming they are still able to be activated by the store, seller, or merchant, yes the codes will still redeem and convert to the current ratio / amount of the same monetary value.
Hell someone redeemed a 48 hour Xbox gold trial that came with the Burger King 2006 game the other day and it worked.
The real hack is buying Brazilian gold cards and using a VPN but I’d be SHOCKED if they didn’t crack down on this yet. I remember once getting like 3-4 years of gamepass for next to nothing using that strat
