Im tryna run some games on my WII U literally all my wii games work and all my wii u games don’t work on my Wii U which is ironic. I bought 3 games wii party u, super mario bros new and smash bros. Plz someone help
have you checked your discs against a light for disc rot? you’d see little holes in the disc, though generally, even games with disc rot do still show up and at least attempt to load, so the problem could be deeper than that.

Jezz man, idk but clear your fn room. Lasers are sensitive devices.

For some reason my wii u has the same issue… the only games it reads are Minecraft and Mario Kart Wii

Judging by all of that dust, you might need to clean the lens. Wii games are “Nintendo proprietary” DVDs, Wii U games are another style of proprietary disc that are closer to Blu-ray. They require different laser focus to be read.
Otherwise, the laser is somehow malfunctioning and needs repair/replacement.

I’m not saying this in a harsh way, but there’s a lot of dust on and around the console, I’ll bet there’s a fair amount inside it too. Could possibly be the issue.

The likely cause is that blue laser on wii u is dead and needs to be replaced.

That Wii U must be confused about why it’s still being used

The problem could be that the WiiU’s lens that reads the discs is dirty. Some games have second layer of information on them that can’t be read if the console can’t “see” well enough. They used to make cleaner discs specifically for wiiu for fixing this, but they’re a bit pricey to get secondhand now. I’d imagine a third party dvd/cd lens cleaner disc would do the same job for around $10-15. Good luck because if cleaning doesn’t work you’re looking at a more expensive problem.
