I just bought a Japanese 3dsLL and I noticed in the cartridge slot it looks strange, like bare. The last time I've had a Ds device was 2019 and it was the American New 3dsXL so I can't remember what the slot looked like. The only cartridge I've tried have been American so I know it wouldn't work, (I plan on modifying it to change the region) It felt ok when inserting the cartridge. Any ideas? (i tried looking up cartridge slot pictures but most were teardowns of the actual piece).
