Publishers of games decide the sale percentage, not Steam. Dead Island 2 Ultimate Edition is for example now 90% off on Steam and PS Store, and was 90% off on Xbox two months ago.

I love Valve and I love Steam, in fact its the only platform where I m active.
That being said this much glazing for a company is too much… it’s starting to feel cringe, and most of the posts on this sub are like this.

I love Steam but this isn’t how sales work. Sale % is set by publishers and as far as I know, they are usually the same amount for the same game across different platforms
