    1. I more I think about all this, the more obvious it is that we got worked by Microsoft on this one. They basically got the Xbox community cheering for a $3 price increase and the removal of COD. They also get to show the growth that GP will have due to the change. It was kind of a brilliant move to be honest.

Don’t care. I’m not gonna review subscription because. They lower the price lmdao. I used pay 13$ for ultimate

They should treat it like movies, 45 days release window for games then comes to gpu

    4. I wonder how much it has actually grown and will grow. Their last reported numbers were 34 mil subscribers in 2024 and I wouldn’t be surprised if they still have less than 36 mil now in 2026. I wouldn’t be surprised if they don’t break 40 mil by 2030.

Gamepass growth is tied to consoles, over 80% of Gamepass subscribers are on console and most people subscribe to be able to play online. Console sales have been abysmal and basically came to a complete stop the last 2 years, so Gamepass can’t grow

    5. When it was way cheaper it barely grew. I doubt it will much after this. Xbox simply needs better games that are exclusive to have any chance of growing.

I doubt it. Still a higher price than it was before for a dying console.

    7. They probably lost a ton of people after the last price increase. Microsoft will be lucky if they get back to the original number before that increase. Game pass subscriptions have been stagnant or declining for years.
