I consider this a good thing since I’ve never been a fan of silent protagonists. It feels really weird when characters talk to you but you never say anything back.

But I did love how Portal 2 turned that into a joke with Chell jumping instead of speaking during the intro sequence

    2. Only played the first 2 games as a teenager, and my interest was definitely piqued with the announcement. But finding out Glukhovsky is a zionist removed any interest I had.

Also funny to look back at the early games now and see that they really do go for the whole ‘communists are actually as bad as nazis’.

Silent Protags worked in 2D games kinda but I’ve never been a fan. I want my character to feel like a character not a camera.

    4. That’s fine. I never had an issue with the direction they took with the other ones either though
