    1. I do I’ve had stuff on my wishlist for like over a decade but I also have like 500+ things on it not 25

    2. I put the games in wishlist. But I have rarely brought the game in wishlist when they are in sale. I am more of a spur of the moment shopper.

    3. My backlog is so long now, that I don’t buy anything new until it’s 75%+ off.

    4. I just throw stuff in my wishlist to keep an eye on them. I don’t always have the intention to buy them. Just to see how they’re progressing.

I wanted to buy cyberpunk for ages but I always have “what if it’ll be cheaper on the next sale”
I have cyberpunk on wishlist for 6 years now

I accidentaly did this with The Witcher 3, so, when I eventually bought it, I played the full experience back to back, Hearts of Stone, Blood and Wine, pristine patches and everything, at 30% of the original price.

That got me thinking on how less-better my experience would’ve been if I played at launch, and was a turning point that gave me a perpetual ANTI-FOMO.

I genuinely don’t care for playing games at launch anymore, at all.

^((with rare exceptions, Elden Ring and Crimson Desert being the two only ones I can think of))

    7. My history is not waiting and still going crazy during sales, out of fear of games being delisted if i wait too long. I made it to 1500 games in 5 years doing that. But I want to slow it down now. With that being said, my wishlist has 3k games.

Ideally, you will have a large enough back-catalogue to play through that it doesn’t feel like waiting “forever” for a game to go on sale, they just inevitably do. My current problem is I have way too many games that I bought on sale that I will never be able to get to in my lifetime.

    9. Sometimes I see something on sale I want and keep waiting knowing it can go lower lol

Same number. I keep my wishlist mostly for a trigger for a release of a game and 2-3 games waiting for sale.

Really depends on the base price. Lot of games I like typically cost $10-$25 it doesn’t take much to convince me to pick them up at those prices. But they go on sale quick and often- so usually I am actually getting them for like 10-20 percent off. But overall- I don’t need to wait long.

Oh man I got almost 140 games in my whislist and whenever I see them I just say naaah and buy something else form store.

    13. I recently cleaned out my wishlist and it shrank by 3-4 times. Currently, there are 672 games on it.
The most interesting ones are in the top hundred, while the rest are games that would be interesting but have some drawbacks.

    14. Every game I don’t plan on buying day 1 I get on sale, and even those I do play day 1 I get on sale through resellers

I also use sales as a reason to unwishlist stuff. if the game is 70%+ off or $5 or less and I’m not buying it, I don’t really want it

I have around 120 on my wishlist, I don’t wait for sales but when I’ve completed a game and looking for something new I’ll scroll through my list and grab something.

    17. Crazy is only having 25 games on your wishlist instead of getting 25 random notifications along the day cause some game is on sale.
