Had some ridiculous luck on Marketplace and snagged one of these.
I’ve owned an OG 3DS, N3DS, N3DSXL, 2DS in the past but this was one I never go around to playing.
Got lucky as the poster had it in a gross case which made it look like the top panel had been ripped off….didnt bother me as I would’ve reshelled it, but to my surprise it was clean as a whistle under there.
The lighter weight is a nice change, I get that to many it feels cheaper, but I’m going to keep it unmodded and just use it for longer sessions of Zelda/Pokemon games.
Do you own one of these, where does it rank in your 3DS hierarchy?

Clean and in my opinion the 2ds xl just feels like it plays smoother with games

I own that model.
I like it lots; my only issue with it is that it’s way harder to replace the battery in it.
$20 is insane. great find.
i had one but replaced it with a n3dsxl. the 3d is just too important of a feature to leave behind. i wasnt a fan of the lower build quality either but $20 is nothing. it’s like the price of meal at chipotle
choosing not to mod it is an interesting choice but to each their own.
