      I think people have to understand the PS5 ports didn’t move the needle. They only made Xbox $250 million a year. They went multiplat for two years and they still ended up at a very low 3% profit margin 

      The experiment is over.

      Sharma started with “the plan is the plan – until it isn’t the plan”. Going by that logic anything she says can be changed.

      Once all the layoffs and studio closures will be done , then I’d judge what Sharma and Ball shall do.

      They just spent a week lying about the E-Day exclusivity plan, why would anyone take another Xbox PR mouthpiece at their word? The only thing we can trust from them at the moment is action.

      Yeah, and Gears of War E-Day was never in development for PS5 🤪🤪🤪🤪

      Your rights it’s not hard to understand why these runouts spread because you and the rest of the “gaming media” make shit up for clicks and will repost what others say without verifying

      What would the gaming press talk about without Xbox. Game Journalist would have no jobs if it wasn’t for Xbox. It’s crazy how much people love to talk and speculate about Xbox. Nintendo or Sony do layoffs and at best people talk about it for two days mostly awww hope they all land on their feet and some trash talking. But Xbox does it and they literally will talk about it for weeks. Twist words to create headlines and create rumors. I don’t get why the media is so hard on Xbox if they die game journalist half of them would be out of jobs.

      Remind me in 1 year when they fall more in the red and the choice is between closing another studio or putting your games out to a wider audience

      Here’s the thing. If gears or any other exclusive flops on xbox, it will flop on ps5 and wouldn’t have been worth porting. If an exclusive is a success on Xbox it can be used to pull people into the ecosystem.

      I do think Gears is sink or swim now though. The franchise will get shelved if this game flops imo and the execs will see it as a sign there isn’t much of an appetite for the series anymore, rather than try to put out a panic port on ps5.

      Xbox’s messaging is the absolute worse of almost any major company right now.

      They really need to get a handle on this. Rumors happen when things are not clear, and Xbox has conflicting and changing messaging like every other week it seems.

      Sony saw Xboxs fuckups and was like yeah we’re pulling our games from PC. Hell, at least they had an exclusive window when they put their games on PC. With Xbox it’s been day one for a long time.

      Course it’s false it’s to soon first gears has to come out magically sell millions of units with gamepass still and when it doesn’t Xbox/microsoft leadership will change the plan again for the millionth time.

      I was always sick and tired of hearing the losers in here cope spam “why would I be mad more people get to play games”… Like how dumb can you be? Just give all our games up while we get nothing but live service Sony games?

      Also was always irritated at gamepass being the only selling point for Xbox. Whenever people mentioned Xbox it was always gamepass game pass gamepass. I knew the price would raise as they all do and then it wouldn’t be a good value anymore. Now look.

      Xbox has nothing now.
