2019 Golden Lunar New Year background still showing on my profile with Augmented Steam, but I don’t have any custom backgrounds set and can’t remove it.

I don’t see it when viewing your profile, so this tell me it the Augmented Steam plug you’re using is what applying it.

IIRC, it’s a setting in the add-on that lets you choose from different themes and colors, including some that normally aren’t available (like the gold profile theme in your case).
It also makes your selected color/theme visible to other users who have the add-on enabled.
