Either Pikmin 1 or Pikmin 2. Pikmin 1 has a wonderful vibe and an amazing core that is great for replays. While I love Pikmin 2 for its creative soundtrack and dungeon crawling experience that asks a lot from the player.

4 was the best because of the variety if underground challenges, overworld familiarity, and the overall polish. Wasn’t a fan of the dog character though, just kinda appears out of nowhere and has the IQ to move armies strategically…
1 is my favorite because there was no precedent set; everything felt new, fresh, and mysterious… great atmosphere for adventuring. The game wasn’t perfect, but nothing was overly game breaking either.
