Money was tight at points when I was growing up. I think the only console I owned for the better part of my childhood was a game boy colour with donkey kong country as my only game. Most of my gaming came from playing at friends or families houses when I was a guest. I’ll never forget my Dad coming home one random night from work, when I was a kid, and surprising me with the original Xbox, Project Gotham racing, Amped, Turok Evolution and, of course, the great Halo: Combat Evolved. I couldn’t believe it. The nostalgia of booting up Halo for the first time. I’d never seen graphics so good. It single handedly kickstarted my love for gaming.

Man I remember playing KOTOR because I loved Star Wars! Except I didn’t understand how the character building & stats worked because I was too young! Imagine my glee when I came back to it after some DND gameplay. Also, JACKALS ON THE ROOFTOPS!
