About a month ago I ended up taking a plunge in a lake with my 3DS in my pocket (idiocy on my part). I took it apart, let it dry out and also scrubbed what I could with iso and a q-tip to clean it the best I can. She’s still surviving after that abuse and I wouldn’t have believed someone if they told me theirs was still working after a similar incident. All it needed was a replacement battery and plenty of time to sit and she was good to go!
Also thanks for the tips on my original post here. This thing has definitely seen better days
