Finally got some free time and thinking to get South of Midnight. It's now unavailable. I know xbox is letting the studios go independent again, does it mean it will be available again in the near future?

Things are possibly changing so that Compulsion Games appears as the publisher now instead of Microsoft; the same thing happened with Hi-Fi Rush when Krafton took over the publishing role.

It’s due to switching publishers. Octopath Traveler did this when it switched hands.

It’s because you can’t technically buy *just* the game. It only comes in the “Weaver Edition” that includes the digital artbook, soundtrack, etc
