    Diy rechargeable battery for series controller

    I’ve modded my Xbox Series controller by adding a rechargeable battery to it, as I’d run out of batteries (T_T)

    Does anyone know how good the voltage regulator in the controller is? I just didn’t bother fitting my own, so in theory the controller is now running on ~4V

      Why didn’t you do the plug mod where it goes straight into the socket? You only need 2 forks

      I mean I really don’t it with all the yearning for proprietary rechargeable crap. You can get rechargeable AA batteries from literally everywhere.

      Why won’t you just use rechargeable batteries as batteries? I think your shenenigans has a risk of damaging controller (but if you don’t mind it – go on! Good luck to you young engineer)

      Meanwhile, i thought the craziest thing I’ve ever done was put no batteries in it, plug it into a 10,000mah portable battery bank and be “almost wireless” with a battery life of almost two weeks

      Technically still wireless to the console.

      If you can afford to game a console, games, and accessories, you can’t really blame third party valid options like a battery pack to be “ expensive” or say I don’t have money for it

      The risk of burning down your house over the cost of $20 seems like a terrible idea to me.

      I would not trust that at all.
