That it nails the specific tonal blend that Zelda has. The series is never completely dark or completely lighthearted, and I think a lot of fan films and fan media lean too hard into the serious elements because they think it makes the story cooler. I don’t want just another fantasy movie. I want to believe that epic sword fights with Ganon and wacky characters like Tingle can exist in the same world.
(Im not literally saying Tingle has to be in movie just that the weirder aspects of the franchise aren’t ignored.)
