    1. I really wish Steam would support raw gyro output to games that already have build in gyro support.

this is cool for awareness of gyro controls in general, I’m constantly surprised at how many people aren’t aware of gyro or entirely dismiss it because of early iterations or Wii era motion control fatigue or something. I’ve gotten “I assumed it was bad” so much here on Reddit.

as someone who loves using controllers but really dislikes aiming solely with the right stick on third person games (I still ain’t ever playing a first person shooter without mouse and keyboard lol) cause of loss of precision; it’s fantastic.

recently played through Horizon Zero Dawn Remaster with a DualShock 4 and the game has actually decent native gyro implementation. I seriously can’t imagine playing that game without it where you have to constantly hit small specific enemy parts while dodging and moving fast.

Honestly ever since the new UI I’ve just stopped using steam to remap controllers or use gyro.

It was so simple with the old UI but now it’s nested menus within nested menus and it’s a pain in the ass to set up any kind of action set if the game you’re playing doesn’t support mixed controller/mouse input.
