So… I don't like the touch screen controls very much (I'm mainly very scared of scratching the screen but also honestly it's just not that fun for me. I found a patch to use the left stick for analog movement but it doesn't work for the right stick. The problem is I happen to be left handed and I don't have any clue how to modify the AR code to make it work with the right stick instead. I looked up how they work but found literally not a single piece of useful information and even asking AI was totally useless.
So my solution is just to play like this. I'm able to read and write upside down just fine but it is a little silly. Got an AYN Thor and thought I would be able to just bind the right stick to the left stick but found out that MelonDS doesn't support analog stick or ZL/ZR patches. Some pull request claims to have implemented it via the gba slot but I couldn't find a downloadable build.
If anyone has a less ridiculous solution let me know otherwise I'll just be doing this!

Yes, buy a screen protector and use the bottom screen.
