I was browsing through a friend’s friends list on PlayStation when I came across this account. I clicked on it and noticed that it apparently has 476,759 hours played on LEGO Marvel.
I did the math and… that’s roughly 54 years of playtime 💀
For context, that would mean they started playing the game before the NES (Nintendo’s first console) was even released.
Obviously, this has to be some kind of bug. But what makes it even funnier is that I checked their trophies, and apparently they only completed the very first level, where you fight Sandman, in 2024.
So apparently this person spent 54 years playing LEGO Marvel… and then finally beat Sandman in 2024.
I censored the PSN ID because I figured they probably wouldn’t want it publicly shared, and I don’t think sharing someone’s ID without their permission is right.
Still, I thought this was hilarious and worth sharing. 😂

Month or two ago now someone was using an exploit to add game hours to thousands of people’s accounts but playstation had removed all of them.
This guy must’ve had the bug happen to them out of nowhere while playing the game 😭
I think I am tired of seeing this type of posts.
No, you haven’t found anyone. There’s a glitch that appears every so often which creates a ridiculous amount of hours on people’s profiles. No-one’s exploiting anything, or playing entire lifetimes-worth of a single game. It’s just a processing error.
