A guy that i used to watch on youtube a long time ago had a series of videos called "7 indispensable games", in wich he would pick a console (and in some occasions operational systems) and try to select…well…7 indispensable games, not necessarily the best ones, neither his favorites, but the ones that he felt best represented the platform and it's potential for newcomers that never touched it before
i thought the idea was cool, so i've attempted to do it with each major Nintendo console and here are the results
Some personal rules i TRIED to use:
1. only one game per franchise (with the logic of "if you like this one, you can later play the sequels");
-
exclusives have an advantage and if a game was either originally designed for OR a temporary exclusive, it also gets an advantage (hence why the GC got RE4 and the Wii U got BOTW)
-
Tried to keep variety in mind (not sure i achieved it though)
-
tried not to repeat redundant sequels or ports (mk8dx and ssbu where where i broke this rule…because it felt wrong to not recommend them)
so there, feel free to judge my choices (nailing it down to just 7 was REALLY HARD for most of these) and also…does anyone know a good sub to make a similar post to this one, but with the other consoles?

Astral Chain really??
Counting both Black 2 and White 2 in the same spot is kinda stretching it a bit
