Hello r/3DS, I just have a quick question for the experts here: the hinge on my Original 3DS XL is slightly cracked, and when I try to close it, it automatically powers off the entire system (see the above video). The crack has been there for a little while now but the auto-power-off behavior hasn't started until today. What do I do now? Is this 3DS repairable?

I think its always bit more than slightly. Better off reselling. If you leave it like this then the ribbon cable could become damaged
