I feel like there was something special about the new titles coming out in 2013-2014 where it felt less like a full unrecognizable leap into the next-gen and more or these “upgraded Xbox 360” type of games where they were beyond the limitations of what the previous gen could do but they weren’t pushing the limits of the Xbox One.

I personally still tend to mostly play Xbox games from this era. Not sure if it’s nostalgia or not but I genuinely enjoy this time for Xbox.

    1. I miss it. Titanfall especially, one of the best fps i ever played. I was Gen 10 and mastered this game.

I’ve never felt the same ever since with any newer game yet.

Ryse was unbelievably ahead of its time. How the One handled this so smoothly is beyond me.

Yet again it was made by Crytek so I shouldn’t be surprised about the graphics being so good

    3. Never played Spark (what was it?), and I bounced off Sunset Overdrive but I loved the others.

I really got the Titanfall bug. The online was great. Now number 2 – wow!

    4. I didn’t experience it. I didn’t buy an Xbox One until 2015. It wasn’t until Arkham Knight and MGS 5 released that I felt compelled to upgrade.
