Having a difficult boss is fine, but it needs to be interesting. The boss fights were mediocre for the most part with the last being pretty tedious. It went on for too long.

    2. I really like Dread, but I think the main issue people had with it wasn’t difficulty but linearity.

    3. Its kinda interesting to state this as a problem. Its like saying, my main problem with TotK was, that it shows how dynamic an open world can feel, making everything else feel static and linear.

    4. Game was great. Main issue was soundtrack and how linear this game was. It barely felt like Metroid in terms of backtracking because there wasn’t any.

So long as a final boss is engaging enough, and has a nice sense of escalation.

You should be using every mechanic you’ve learned to its full potential by that point, and if not then the game has failed to truly test the player.

    6. TOTK was made with casual players in mind, so you get casual bosses. If you want hardcore bosses, you need to look at hardcore games. It’s simple.
