Why did this happen? The GBC isn’t a children’s system in the same vein as the NEX Playground, it’s similar to most Nintendo consoles: A family friendly system where ESRB did the seperate age rating deeds.

    1. Because it was absolutely seen as a children’s system back then, and South Park was like the most “adult” property out there. Different time.

    2. If you were an adult you were expected to kill time in public by reading a magazine or a book.

    3. The only rated T game I can remember was GTA, it was definitely looked as a children’s console

    4. They say they didn’t want to release a game for a children’s system but weren’t PS1 and n64 seen as being for kids as well?

      I always thought gaming was thought to be for kids until the 360 ps3 era.
